Man wanted in connection to Grays Ferry mass shooting that killed 3

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Police have issued an arrest warrant for Christopher Battle, 24, who is wanted in connection with a mass shooting in Grays Ferry that killed three people last month.

The July 7 shooting on the 1500 block of South Etting Street killed Zahir Wylie, 23; Jason Reese, 19; and Azir Harris, 24.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, nine additional victims were shot, ranging in age from 15 to 23 years old. At least one victim, a 19-year-old man, remains hospitalized in critical condition from being shot in the head.

As with all homicides in the City of Philadelphia, a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
