Police said Corey McLaughlin was interviewed by detectives on August 8 and then charged with murder.

The shooting occurred at the Shell gas station on Robinson Street on Friday, August 1. Police said the victim, Shawn Crenshaw, had been shot multiple times at the location and died from his injuries.
