Hit-and-run leaves 37-year-old motorcyclist dead in Beloit

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police reported that a 37-year-old man died after being hit by a truck while driving his motorcycle.

The hit-and-run crash took place at the intersection of White Avenue and Riverside Drive, around 2 a.m.

The vehicle that hit the motorcyclist, a 1999 GMC Jimmy, was abandoned and recovered by officers.

The victim’s identity is currently unknown.
