Morganton woman sentenced for trafficking meth
Monroe Police officers responded to an alarm at Monroe Crossing Mall around 1:30 a.m. July 24.
When officers arrived, they found a glass door that had been shattered. It was later discovered that the Piercing Pagoda kiosk had been broken into and jewelry had been taken.
Later that morning, other stores in the mall reported break-ins and missing items.
The total value of the stolen jewelry from all affected stores is estimated at $45,000.
Cameron McManus, 33, of Pageland, was identified as the suspect.
On August 6, McManus was taken into custody at a local hospital. He was later taken to the Union County Jail and given a $25,000 bond. McManus has since met the conditions of his release.
He is facing the following charges:
