NOLA Pool Passport: The Blue Crawfish offers a lazy river, waterfall, massages, and botox

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It’s time to make a splash at another beautiful local pool that we’re featuring as part of WGNO’s NOLA Pool Passport.

With the NOLA Pool Passport you get into six luxury pools around New Orleans for just $64, which is a great deal. It is basically $10 a pool.

Today we headed over to a pool that just opened last month.

Our “pool boy” WGNO’s Kenny Lopez is cooling off at The Blue Crawfish Hotel, Spa, and Pool in the Treme.

The pool features a lazy river that guests and members love.

“The lazy river is right here with two powerful jets that will push you around and get you going around the whole pool,” Lehmann said.

The pool features beautiful waterfalls too.

“The waterfalls are really cool, and a relaxing spot. You get under there in the cave and you don’t hear anything, but the water falling down. It is total tranquility,” he said.

The waterfalls cave also features bench seating and glow-in-the-dark rocks.

“You can sit down and relax, and when the water hits you in the face, it’s like no other place,” he said.

The Blue Crawfish also has a hot tub that guests love.

“So the hot tub is really cool. The jets, the bubbles, it’s not like a normal hot tub, it’s like a hot tub on steroids,” Lehmann said.

In addition to the pool, The Blue Crawfish is home to Frankly Beautiful Medical Spa & Skin Care.

“They offer botox injections, massage services, and more. We want to be different. We want to be unique. We don’t want to be like the regular guy. We want people to come here and get the whole package in one,” Lehmann said.

“We want you to leave all your problems out there and come into the pool, and relax, you get the resort feel that we want to give you and just have fun before you have to put your real clothes back on.
