The Prestonsburg Police Department (PPD) announced on Facebook just after 2 p.m. on Aug. 7 that additional “substantial evidence” was obtained that reportedly implicated the driver, Westin Harris, in connection with the shooting.
In the release, the police said that Harris has yet to be found and he has been charged with felony wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
FOX 56 previously reported that a 17-year-old was arrested in connection with the shooting on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
In a prior release, PPD noted that Harris identified himself as the driver of the vehicle to the police. He also reportedly told the police that he had no idea what the teenager planned to do until it was too late.
LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:
