Both Bradly Ingle of Cabot and Tammy F. of Washington County bought the $20 “$50,000 Frenzy” instant game after winning a smaller amount on the same games, and both cashed them on Aug. 4.
Ingle had bought his ticket at VMart LLC, located on 914 W. Main St. in Cabot, while out on his DoorDash shift.
Ingle says he thought to himself, ” $50,000 Frenzy’s always been good to me,” and “I’m just going to buy myself a ticket and see what happens.”
After winning, Ingle said he had to call his girlfriend and brother to make sure he was truly seeing what he thought he was. After confirmation, he went and cashed the ticket and said he plans to put the money into savings.
Tammy F. of Washington County claimed her ticket of $50,000 off the same card that she bought at Murphy USA 7123, located at 3951 N. Mall Ave. in Fayetteville.
Tammy had previously won $30 on the “$50,000 Frenzy” card and thought she would try her luck again while out running errands.
After scratching the ticket in the parking lot, Tammy said, “I was really in disbelief at first. My first thought was, ‘Oh my word!’”
Tammy said she shared the news with her husband first, who was just as shocked as she was, and they plan to take a vacation with her newfound winnings.
Thirty-four top prizes worth $50,000 each remain on $50,000 Frenzy.
