first victim told the investigator he doesn’t remember the incident. He remembers walking out of the bar and then waking up in his apartment next door to the bar later that morning covered in blood. It was noted medical staff at the hospital had to clean the laceration multiple times due to metal fragments still inside the cut.

The second victim told the investigator he regained consciousness under his truck and drove home. He said he remembers hearing two male voices approaching right before the attack, one of them he recognized as Brim. He says Brim and the other man hit them with a metal object causing them to lose consciousness. He says both victims have had numerous encounters with Brim in the past year.

Brim was recently arrested for third degree battery against the first victim and for violating a no contact order in the process. It was also noted Brim constantly drives by the first victim’s house.

Brim is facing felony charges of first degree battery and second degree battery for the incident. He also faces a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender for having three or more felony convictions.

PREVIOUS FELONY ARRESTS

Brim has six felony arrests dating back to 1999. Offenses include commercial burglary, residential burglary, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault, possession of firearms by a certain person and terroristic threatening.
