Man critically injured after being pinned under vehicle in Rochelle

ROCHELLE, Ill. (WTVO) — Rochelle police say a man is in critical condition after being found stuck beneath a vehicle in a home’s driveway following a “domestic situation.”

According to the Rochelle Police Department, officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Lincoln Highway on Wednesday at 6:02 p.m.

Police said the victim was found stuck under the vehicle. He was unconscious but breathing, and was removed and taken to Rochelle Community Hospital. Later, he was flown to a hospital in Rockford.

Authorities said the incident was an isolated event and there was no danger to the public. All parties involved are cooperating with investigators, police said.
