The Fresno County DA’s office says 44-year-old Salvador Reyna was sentenced to 53 years to life in state prison for lewd acts involving three minors.
Between the fall of 2008 and the summer of 2014, the court says Reyna “used grooming tactics and deception” to exploit his victims. According to the DA, he also gave them alcohol and/or sedatives and used blindfolds to conceal his actions.
Under the guise of games or harmless tasks, the court says Reyna manipulated the victims into acts of sexual abuse. In one instance, they say a victim awoke to Reyna inappropriately touching her.
Following a nearly two-month jury trial, Reyna was convicted of four counts of
committing lewd acts with a child and sentenced to 53 years to life. He will be eligible for elderly parole after serving a minimum of 20 years in custody.
