(KRON) — A DJ performing at the Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco had to cancel his set due to an illness. According to the artist’s label, DJ Koze can no longer perform his set Friday at Golden Gate Park due to an “acute infection accompanied by persistent physical exhaustion and fever.”

Koze, whose name is Stefan Kozalla, was slated to perform at the SOMA stage from 4:40 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., according to Outside Lands’ Instagram page. The 53-year-old musician from Germany will be replaced by English DJ Bonobo.

“This decision was not made lightly, but given the current health situation, performing would be irresponsible,” Koze’s music label Pampa Records wrote in a statement. “Kosi looks forward to returning to the stage and seeing everyone again as soon as he has fully recovered.”

Koze has also cancelled his upcoming shows in Denver and Los Angeles. The Denver show was in support for Jamie XX on Thursday, Aug. 7, and the Los Angeles performance was slated for Saturday, Aug. 9.
