Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen unveils custom slot machine in Hard Rock Casino Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rick Nielsen, frontman of Cheap Trick, returned to Rockford to unveil a custom slot machine to celebrate Hard Rock Casino Rockford’s first anniversary.

The slot machine is entitled Rick Nielsen’s Five Neck Fortune to honor the legendary Rockford guitarist.

Casino leaders said after one year, they are happy with the impact Hard Rock has already made on the community.

“I think the big thing for us is the community has been so supportive. We’ve always felt that we were going to create a great place for people to enjoy themselves and be entertained,” explained Hard Rock Casino Rockford President Geno Iafrate. “We were going to create a great place for our team members to have fulfilling careers. But, more important than all of that, we wanted to make sure the community of which we’re a part of is a better place for everybody to live.”

Starting Friday, Hard Rock will have a special ticket sale to see CeeLo Green live for 815 Day.
