2 found dead in car along PCH in Ventura County

An investigation is underway after two people were found dead inside a car along Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura County Wednesday night.

A witness spotted the vehicle at Vista Point at Point Mugu State Park, a popular scenic viewpoint, around 7:30 p.m., according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities arrived at the location and investigated the vehicle. Both people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Although the cause of death remains unclear, investigators said there are suspicious factors in the case. No further details, including the pair’s identities, were released.
