U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers intercepted 59 pounds of marijuana on Aug. 3, after discovering it in the baggage of a traveler destined for Germany. Officers said they found numerous vacuum-sealed packages inside two suitcases being loaded onto the Frankfurt-bound flight.
The marijuana had a value of about 0,000 in the U.S. CBP noted that, depending on the potency, the shipment could have fetched two to three times more in Europe.
