According to a press release, the State Fair of West Virginia in the Fairlea area of Greenbrier County will kick off its 100th year on Thursday, Aug. 7, and will continue through Saturday, Aug. 16, with a variety of activities for people to enjoy.
The press release stated that the gates at the fair will open at 8:00 a.m. each day, and the carnival rides will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

According to the press release, the 2025 Concert Series at the State Fair of West Virginia will include T-Pain (8/7/25), Kansas and 38 Special (8/8/25), Buckin’ B Bull Ride (8/9/25), Zach Top with special guest Cole Goodwin (8/10/25), Cornell Gunter’s Coasters, Drifters, and Platters (8/11/25), Nate Smith with special guest Preston Cooper (8/12/25), Wyatt Flores with special guest Kashus Culpepper, (8/13/25), Lauren Daigle with special guest Franni Cash (8/14/25), Jeff Dunham (8/15/25), and Miranda Lambert with special guest Myles Morgan (8/16/25).
The press release stated that attractions people can enjoy at the 100th State Fair of West Virginia will include the Hot Glass Academy, the Sea Lion Splash Show, Oregon Trail Display, the Moogician, Swifty Swine Pig Racing, and Hypnotist Catherine Hickland to the UScellular Free Stage.
According to the press release, people will be able to enjoy activities such as a ten-day schedule of livestock events that will include the Draft Horse Pull at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, horse shows, Junior 4-H and FFA livestock shows, and the WV High School Rodeo.
The press release stated that for the 100th annual State Fair of West Virginia, there will be fireworks on both Saturdays, special merchandise, food specials, and a drone show on Friday, Aug. 15.
According to the press release, specials at the fair will include a discounted $10 admission Monday through Thursday, Dollar Day on Tuesday, Aug. 12, and $5 admission on Thursday, Aug. 14.
The press release also stated that on Monday, Aug. 11, Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County – Tools for School Supply Drive will be at the fair and people can bring three school supply items or two personal hygiene products to get a coupon for the day for $25 for rides and gate admission. Kids 10 years old and younger will be able to attend for free all day, every day at the fair.
