Slidell man arrested in connection with drug investigation

SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A man was arrested in connection with a narcotics investigation on July 24 in Slidell.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement conducted an investigation at a house in the 3000 block of Terrace Avenue in Slidell. The investigation led to the arrest of 37-year-old James Hart.
STPSO officials said detectives seized cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana and around two pounds of methamphetamine.
Hart was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center and faces the following charges:
Attempted possession with the intent to distribute schedule II CDS- methamphetamine
Possession of Schedule II CDS- methamphetamine
Possession of Schedule II CDS cocaine
Possession of Schedule II CDS- fentanyl
Possession of Schedule I CDS- marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
