Parts of Topeka Law Enforcement Center close temporarily due to ‘ongoing maintenance issues’
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Portions of the Capital City’s Law Enforcement Center are closed to the general public due to maintenance problems this week.

The Topeka Police Department (TPD) announced in a press release on Aug. 6 the lobby and Property Room at the Law Enforcement Center will be closed for the next few hours. The TPD said the issues that prompted the closure is being caused by ongoing maintenance problems.

The Topeka Police Department is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during this time.

People who need help can head over to a mobile command unit that will be set up in the parking lot. You can find the city’s Law Enforcement Center at 320 South Kansas Avenue.
