Mississippi woman pleads guilty to Medicaid fraud
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi woman pled guilty to Medicaid fraud, according to the Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney General Lynn Fitch (R-Miss.) said Pearly Youngblood, 43, of Taylorsville, was arrested on August 21, 2024, and charged with welfare fraud for knowingly submitting false claims for Medicaid services that she did not provide.

Youngblood was ordered by Judge David Strong to pay full restitution in the amount of $16,598.40 to the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, as well as $4,000 in fines and fees.

She received five years of non-adjudicated probation through the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) and will remain on the federal exclusion list, making her ineligible from participating in Medicaid, Medicare, or any other federal health care program, for five years.
