A 42-year-old woman has died one week after being involved in a crash with a semi-truck, the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said.

First responders were called to the crash around 11:20 a.m. on July 25 on the 1900 block of County Trunk Highway G in Erin Prairie Township.

Investigators determined that 42-year-old Ashlie Rosen was driving a pickup truck west on the highway while a 40-year-old man was driving eastbound in a semi-truck pulling a trailer filled with corn.

Authorities say Rosen crossed over the center line, which caused the semi to tip onto its side.

Rosen was air-lifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where she died of her injuries on Friday. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to authorities.

The driver of the semi was brought to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
