Temperatures have settled in the 60s for Uptown and 50s in our mountains as rounds of light to moderate rain push into the Queen City. Winds are light, but roads are soaked with some patchy fog, and areas of limited visibility are likely.
Be sure to give yourself some extra time this morning as heavier rain moves in late morning and early afternoon. Highs will be limited to the low 70s as winds continue to flow out of the northeast between 3 and 8 miles per hour.
We can see anywhere between a tenth of an inch to half an inch of rain by this evening, with most of the rain tapering off by dinner time. Cloudy skies will linger as overnight lows bottom out in the mid-60s heading into Wednesday.
70s will linger through mid-week as our active pattern continues and rain chances linger for Wednesday. 80s return Thursday with a slight chance for thunderstorms with added instability due to the heat.
We’ll gradually warm up through the weekend as Saturday & Sunday sit in the low to mid-80s. Rain and storms will stay in the forecast through early next week, with upper 80s locked in by Monday.
