State Senator John Hoffman has endorsed Dr. Matt Klein in the race for U.S. Congressional District 2 in Minnesota.
Matt Klein is also a state senator and represents District 53. He also works at Mayo Clinic in internal medicine, according to his campaign announcement.

“Dr. Matt Klein has always been about doing what’s right for people,” Hoffman said in a prepared statement. “As Chair of the Commerce Committee, he works to protect Minnesota consumers and ensure our economy works for everyone. He’s authentic and that’s what we need more of in Washington, D.C.”
CD2 is currently held by Angie Craig, who announced she would instead run for U.S. Senate.

Lakeville Mayor Matt Little and Marine Corps veteran Tyler Kistner are also running for the seat.
