SR-144 near Alpine Loop re-opened late Monday evening after the fire forced crews to shut the road down.
According to officials, firefighters responded quickly to the incident, caught it while it was still small, and kept its size minimal at .24 acres. All evacuations and closures have been lifted as of Tuesday morning.
Crews are asking those visiting the area to continue to yield to fire vehicles and personnel in the American Fork Canyon area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
