Ming’s funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, at Children’s Mercy Park.
Parking lots will open at 9 a.m. with stadium gates opening at 10 a.m.
The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement procession and burial information will be announced at a later date.
At a community vigil last week, Ming was remembered as a father, college baseball player and wrestling coach. Remembered for his smile and being the same person out of uniform who served his community with honor, integrity and pride.

Court records say that on Saturday, July 26, law enforcement received a call from a woman asking officers to accompany her as she moved out of her home, located near South 30th Street and Shawnee Drive, due to safety concerns.
She told investigators that she tried to move items out of the home previously with her friends, but a man, later identified as Harris, had threatened her with a gun.
According to investigators, Ming and a Kansas City, Kansas, police officer were called to the scene on reports of a “civil standby.” They arrived at about 3:30 p.m.
When they approached the front door, investigators say a man, identified as 38-year-old Shawn Harris, shot at the officers multiple times from inside the house.
The KCKPD officer was uninjured; however, Ming was struck by gunfire. He was later taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Following the shooting, the suspect barricaded himself inside the house for several hours. At some point during the standoff, gunfire was exchanged between him and responding law enforcement agents, resulting in Harris being shot.
He eventually surrendered and was taken into custody.
The Wyandotte County District Attorney has charged Harris with one count of capital murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon by a felon.
Harris is currently being held on no bond. At this time, his first hearing has not been scheduled.
