Summary: It has been one month since the deadly Texas floods. Today we think about those who the floods impacted. Our thoughts are with them as they continue to pick up the pieces. While back home here in the big country and the heartland; for the most part conditions remain calm despite a few morning showers out east extending off a cluster of storms that will push south by late morning. The humid air allowing for feels-like temperatures by this evening to climb past the century mark. Remember to practice heat safety as temperatures will increase by mid-week thanks to a warm front.

Today: Humid, sunny skies with slightly below average temperatures and calm winds. High Temperature: 96° Winds: E 5-10 MPH

Tonight: Mostly clear, seasonal and calm night ahead. Low Temperature: 72° Winds: SE 5-10 MPH
