One person injured in three vehicle crash on I-15 near Leeds

Trooper Davies Sanchez with the Utah Highway Patrol says the incident occurred near milepost 23 after a pickup truck with a trailer attempted to avoid a collision with a semi. The pickup truck fishtailed and ended up striking an RV.

The RV driver attempted to regain control of the vehicle but ended up crashing into the front of the pickup truck. The front passenger of the pickup was transported to the hospital with a broken arm.

The crash briefly blocked the southbound lanes of traffic before the accident was moved to the off-ramp. All lanes of I-15 are open but the off-ramp remains closed for clean up.
