Cameron Michael Dahle, 22, has been charged with one count of first-degree felony rape, according to court documents, though prosecutors say an investigation is still ongoing and more charges may be added.
According to charging documents, Dahle allegedly began sexually assaulting girls in 2016 when he was 13 years old and briefly dated each of the alleged victims. In each of the cases, Dahle and the victim would reportedly start getting intimate, such as kissing, when Dahle would encourage the victim to “take things further.”
In each case, the victims told investigators they would tell Dahle no, with one victim saying she told him “she wasn’t ready.” Dahle would allegedly ignore the girls and continue to encourage them, allegedly saying in one incident, “Just let it happen. Don’t try to fight it.” One victim said she repeatedly told Dahle to stop during the alleged assault, but he “kept going on with his business.”
The investigation into Dahle started in 2022 after one of the victims was approached by another victim’s mother when she recognized Dahle while the two were at a local grocery store. The mother reportedly told the 17-year-old victim that Dahle was “not a good guy.” The two victims later connected on social media and agreed to come forward and talk to police.
Dahle is scheduled to make his first appearance on the charges on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025.
