Triple homicide investigation underway after a party in an NC neighborhood, police say

According to a press release from the Winston Salem Police Department, at 1:38 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Cameron Avenue and found three victims: a 17-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 23-year-old, with gunshot wounds. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Information suggests a gathering was taking place at the time of the shooting. At this time, it is unclear what led to the shooting, and the relationship between the victims is unknown.

Names of the victims are being withheld until all next-of-kin have been notified.
