Suspect in 2024 Milam Street slaying arrested in Ft. Worth

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A man wanted for a June 2024 homicide was arrested.

Shontravious Rogers is accused of a shooting on June 5, 2024, around 5:52 p.m. in the 3500 block of Milam Street. When officers arrived, they learned the victim, Tevion Marshal, was wounded and later died at a local hospital.

The collaborative effort between SPD detectives and the U.S. Marshals Service led to the arrest of Rogers on July 17, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was extradited to Louisiana and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on July 29.
