PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — One person was found dead after a Friday morning rollover crash on Kyhv Peak Road.

On Friday morning, a 33-year-old male checked into an emergency room in Provo, where he was treated for head and leg injuries. He informed staff that he had been involved in a rollover crash approximately 2.5 miles along Kyhv Peak Road. He also reported that another individual was still in the vehicle and had been unresponsive.

At approximately 7 a.m., Provo Police Department were notified of the vehicle accident and conducted a brief search on Kyhv Peak Road. They were able to locate an overturned vehicle that was approximately 50 yards away from the roadway.

Unfortunately, a female was found deceased within the vehicle. Her identity and cause of death have not been released.

Provo’s Traffic Accident Team responded and closed Kyhv Peak Road for approximately 6 hours. The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time
