HAPPENING NOW: Train crashes into semi-truck in Tye

TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A train crashed into a semi-truck in Tye Friday afternoon.

The incident happened on the tracks near the intersection near North Street and Morgan Street just before 3:30 p.m.

First responders told KTAB and KRBC the semi-truck driver was in a hurry and tried to rush across the tracks, causing the truck to get hit at a low rate of speed.

There were no injuries reported in connection to this crash, and the cleanup is expected to be quick!
