DNR reminding residents of the deer hunting dates for upcoming Minnesota season

The Minnesota DNR is sharing some important dates for hunters looking to tag some deer.

Deer season will officially open on September 13, starting with bow hunting, which will last for the remainder of 2025.

Youth and early antlerless hunting will begin on October 16 and last until October 19.

Firearm hunting will start on November 8 and close on various dates, depending on the location of the hunt.

Muzzleloader hunting will begin on November 29 and continue until December 14.
