Anoka County Fair fireworks incident
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said multiple people were hurt at the Anoka County Fair on Saturday after someone threw a large firework into a crowd.
According to the sheriff’s office, the incident occurred at 11:34 p.m., when a large firework was thrown towards a crowd of people, which ignited and caused burn injuries to multiple people.
First responders treated the injured people, who were then released.
The sheriff’s office said they want to speak with a group of “suspected juveniles” who were near the incident when it happened.
At this time, the sheriff’s office said it would not be releasing photos or videos of the incident.
