A big stage for two rocking bands. Hot off the press, it is announced that Whiskey Myers and Southall take the stage for the Saturday Night Concert at Talladega Superspeedway this fall. Fans will jam out before the YellaWood 500 on Sunday, October 19th.
The track announced the show this morning on social media, and these two bands are not only going to bring the party, but will also set the place on fire with their genre-bending Southern rock sounds.
“Saturday Night Concert. Whiskey Myers on the main stage. And Southall gets it started. Yeah, we’ll see y’all there.”
“We’ve played a lot of stages over the years, but there’s nothing quite like bringing our music to a place with the energy and passion of a Talladega race weekend. Saturday night is going to be one hell of a party, and we can’t wait to share it with the fans.”

Whiskey Myers brings the heat every time they take the stage, leaving it all on the floor for their fans. This performance is scheduled shortly after the release of their seventh studio album, Whomp Whack Thunder, which is set for release this fall on September 26th via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records. With singles like “Tailspin” and, most recently, “Midnight Woman,” this record sounds raw, rocking, and authentically Whiskey Myers.
On top of that, the Oklahoma Red Dirt rockers, Southall, will kick things off, making it a show for the books. Southall is a high-caliber opener, and their latest record, Southall, showcases the unit formally known as the Read Southall Band’s unique sound, which blends classic rock, Red Dirt stylings, and elements of Southern rock.
