WATCH: Former BYU QB Jake Retzlaff discusses adjustment to Tulane, why he’s hopeful the offense will succeed

Former BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff met with the Tulane media for the first time since joining the Green Wave.

He discussed his adjustment to the city, the offense, his prior relationship with head coach Jon Sumrall and much more. Sumrall tried to lure Retzlaff to Troy in 2022 after he had a dominant season at Riverside City College. Three years later, they have joined forces Uptown.

Retzlaff led BYU to an 11-2 record in 2024 and is ready to help the Tulane quarterback room.
