Vehicle hits pedestrian, then excavator in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people were taken to an area hospital after a vehicle hit a pedestrian before crashing into an excavator Thursday afternoon in Johnson County.

At 1:20 p.m., firefighters were called to the scene of the accident, where they found an individual lying in a ditch.

Both the pedestrian and the driver of the vehicle were taken to a Paintsville hospital to be evaluated.
