The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has identified the man as Jon Fehrenbacher, 66, of Evansville. He was found near the Dog Town Boat Ramp.
Officials say no foul play is suspected, and the results of the autopsy are pending.

DNR officers have confirmed to Eyewitness News that a body has been found near the Dogtown Boat Ramp after an empty boat was discovered floating on the Ohio River.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office say a boat was located floating down the Ohio River on Wednesday. Inside the boat, officials say they found a wallet and a phone. Family members told authorities they have not heard from the owner of the boat.
