Two hurt in Woodbridge shooting, man in custody

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (DC News Now) — The Prince William County Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two people hurt on Thursday.

According to police, officers responded to reports of shots fired at 5:42 p.m. in the 12900 block of Kenmar Dr.

There, a man and a woman were located suffering from gunshot wounds, with an initial investigation determining the parties knew each other and that the shooting occurred in a home.

Police say a man is in custody and that there is no known threat to the community.

The incident remains under investigation.
