BlackStar Film Festival continues through August 3:
- A celebration of the works of Black, Brown, and Indigenous artists.

Peach Festival at Peddler’s Village:
- August 2 & 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Go to Peddler’s Village for a peach lover’s paradise with plenty of peachy treats, live entertainment, and scenic strolls through our summer gardens (with sand sculptures!).
- Admission and parking are FREE.
2nd Street Festival takes over Northern Liberties on Sunday:
- August 3rd, 2 from 12-10 p.m.
- “2nd St Festival has grown into one of the largest annual street festivals in Philadelphia, spanning several blocks in Northern Liberties and drawing thousands of people! Always the first Sunday in August, the neighborhood comes alive with food, libations, and entertainment!” Organizers say.

Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square returns through August 31:
- For 2025’s Year of the Snake, the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square will showcase magnificent giant lighted sculptures crafted from steel frames and wrapped in vibrant silk, blending light and culture. The popular 200-foot-long dragon returns along with never-before-seen giant lantern displays, with more lights, more lanterns, and more wattage than ever before. Visitors will embark on a magical journey through enchanting forest-themed displays and a radiant underwater realm, where lanterns and interactive delights showcase the splendor of China’s culture alongside diverse wildlife and vibrant marine wonders.
- Tickets start at $16 and go up to $29 depending on age and day of visit.

Parks on Tap continues:

- Parks on Tap began on April 9 with 20+ parks on the schedule.
- On the menu, there is everything from an Adult Lunchable to a Loaded Mexican Hot Dog, and Cauliflower Banh Mi, to drinks including Hibiscus Lemonade, Spicy Mango Margarita, as well as Philly favorite drafts, cans, and more.
Catch Beetlejuice at the Academy of Music:
- On stage until August 3
- The musical is based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, which tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes.
