By rssfeeds-admin (WPHL) – Thomas Jefferson University’s Stem Summer Camp for local 6th to 9th graders has officially started, and PHL17 was there to see all the fun.
The two week camp shows students how engineers apply math, science and engineering principals in their work.
There’s also a heavy Philly sports focus, as campers will learn how to apply data science to analyze player performance. They’ll write code to break down batting averages of their favorite player, along with passing and other percentages for the Eagles.
The students created drones on Thursday. They’ll debut at a closing ceremony event on August 14th.
