CHICAGO (WGN) — Tom Brady made a stop in Chicago on Thursday to mark the opening of his new card shop in Wrigleyville.

CardVault by Tom Brady, a premier destination for sports cards, trading cards, and memorabilia, hosted a ribbon-cutting at its location adjacent to the city’s iconic Wrigley Field.

“For us to be right across from this amazing stadium…this is the perfect spot for us,” Brady said.

Located at 1027 W. Addison Street, Suite A107, the card shop is CardVault by Tom Brady’s first in the Midwest, featuring memorabilia and trading cards of some of Chicago’s most significant sports athletes, including Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Chicago Bears great Walter Payton.

Several Chicago Cubs players, including outfielder and MLB All-Star Pete Crow-Armstrong, were on hand to help Brady celebrate the occasion.

“We’re going to be here for a long time,” Brady said. “Thanks for having us.”

Sports card enthusiasts will have a wide range of collectibles from all major sports to choose from. CardVault by Tom Brady will also house collectibles in entertainment, combat sports, Pokémon, and more.

The store also features Chicago-themed CardVault by Tom Brady merchandise, including hats, apparel, and accessories.

“We’re excited to open our doors in the heart of Chicago—a city rich in sports history and home to one of the most passionate fan bases in the world,” said Chris Costa, co-founder of CardVault by Tom Brady.

CardVault by Tom Brady will open to the public on Friday, Aug. 1.

Store operations are seven days a week: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
