Texas cities voted as the heart and soul of baseball

#1 Frisco
Frisco is home to the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The team plays at Riders Field, known for its fan-friendly features – including a lazy river in the outfield. Frisco has developed a strong identity as a family-oriented, sports-loving suburb of Dallas.

#2 Corpus Christi
Baseball in Corpus Christi comes with coastal breezes and big swings. Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A affiliate of Astros) draw crowds to Whataburger Field, where seagulls and home runs share the skyline. Fans here take their Astros pipeline seriously.

#3 Midland
Midland hosts the Midland RockHounds, the Double-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Games at Momentum Bank Ballpark are a major community draw, and the team has been part of the city’s identity for decades.
