Police search for missing man with cognitive impairment in Montgomery County
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help in searching for a cognitively impaired man who disappeared on Tuesday morning.

Police said Reginald McKinley Myers, 69, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on July 29 in the 100 block of East Jefferson Street in Rockville.

Myers is described as around 5 feet and 11 inches tall at 145 pounds. He has brown eyes, salt and pepper hair, and a beard.

According to authorities, Myers was last seen wearing a plain red t-shirt with beige shorts and black tennis shoes.

Due to Myers’s cognitive impairment, the police department issued a “Purple Alert” around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29.

Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts should call 911.
