Pflugerville Fire Dept. hosts school supply drive ahead of new school year

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Having the essential school supplies is important for students to be academically successful. 

As the school year approaches and students prepare to go back to school, the Pflugerville Fire Department is hosting a school supply drive in its community. 

“From now through August 4, the Pflugerville Fire Department is hosting a school supply drive to help students gear up for the new school year,” a press release said.

The fire department is collecting spiral notebooks, markers, crayons, construction paper, scissors, pencils, erasers and backpacks for all ages, the release said. 

These donations can be dropped off at any of its six fire stations across Pflugerville. The list of fire stations are below, per the release. 

• Station 1: 203 E Pecan Street
• Station 2: 15300 Bratton Lane
• Station 3: 2301 Kelly Lane
• Station 4: 911 Pflugerville Pkwy
• Station 5: 1541 Pflugerville Loop
• Station 6: 17221 Weiss Lane
