One airlifted to the hospital after multi-vehicle crash in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Multiple people were hurt in a Wednesday multi-vehicle crash in Prince George’s County, according to the United States Park Police.

Police say officers responded to reports of a crash northbound on the BW Parkway, near Route 193, where multiple vehicles were involved in a collision.

According to police, one person was airlifted to the hospital and two people were transported via ambulance to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic was temporarily diverted, but all roads have since reopened, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
