CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) — West Virginia University’s new president, Michael T. Benson, is touring the state right now as a part of his “Welcome Home Tour.”
The university’s 27th president is making stops at notable locations across the state in 18 counties as he introduces himself and gets to know the people of West Virginia.
Ahead of his tour, he sat down with Amanda Barren during “On the Record with Amanda Barren,” to discuss what parents, students and faculty can expect from him as a leader as the school year approaches.
