LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Loves Park Police arrested Joshua Swann, 29, for allegedly attacking a woman inside a Park Motel room.
On July 11, around 4:30 a.m., officers were called to the Park Motel on North 2nd Street for reports of domestic violence.
The woman told authorities lost consciousness while she was being strangled by the suspect. Swann also took her driver’s license, state ID and debit cards, according to court records.

The victim reported she was strangled on July 9 as well, but did not call the police.
Swann was booked into the Winnebago County Jail on July 30.
He is charged with aggravated battery to a pregnant woman and domestic battery while having prior convictions.
