Home of late Colts owner Jim Irsay listed for $12 million

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — The home of late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been listed for $12 million.

The listing, which was published by Century 21 Scheetz agents Jan Sutton and Steve Decatur, indicates the home boasts six bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a stone exterior, covered patio, gas heat and central air conditioning. The Hamilton County residence, which was built in 1996, sits on 9.4 acres of property that border Crooked Stick Golf Club — a Pete Dye-designed course and site of the 1991 PGA Championship.

In addition to the 25,843-square-foot main residence, two guest homes also sit on the property — a 2,700-square-foot cabin with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage.

The property is situated within the Clay Community Schools district in Carmel, and is protected by wrought iron gates. Century 21’s listing also indicates that the home has other security measures, including a gated guardhouse.

Seven fireplaces, a full nanny’s quarters with kitchen, a breakfast bar, built-in book shelves, cathedral ceilings, an elevator, a sauna, an indoor pool, a whirlpool tub and a wet bar are among the other top features of the home.

The property’s outdoor highlights include a zen garden, tennis court, outdoor pool, custom children’s play area, a private par-3 golf course and a six-car garage.

Century 21 called the home “a tribute to (Irsay’s) enduring legacy, passion and vision.”

“Subtle touches throughout reflect Irsay’s pride in the Colts organization and his vision of home as a place of both inspiration and retreat,” Century 21 staff wrote about the property. “Rarely does a property of this scale, provenance and privacy become available — a true legacy estate in the heart of the Midwest.”

Irsay died in May at the age of 65. His daughters — Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson — have assumed organizational control of the Colts since his death.

The Colts are currently in training camp at Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield. Indianapolis will open the 2025 season against the Dolphins at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 7.
