Four arrested in Iberia Parish for stolen guns and narcotics
IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Three adults and one 17-year-old juvenile were arrested in Iberia Parish for allegedly possessing stolen firearms.
On July 27, at approximately 2 a.m., deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire near Blake Drive and identified the suspected source at a residence on Coteau Road.

Officials said they discovered a fully automatic Glock handgun equipped with an extended magazine, narcotics and items commonly used for drug distribution. Authorities later executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered an AR-15 rifle that had been reported stolen out of Lafayette Parish.
As a result, Shaneta Leday, Brandon Sinegal and an unnamed juvenile were arrested for illegal possession of stolen firearms. Mister Jackson was arrested for illegal possession of stolen firearms, possession with intent to distribute schedule I, handling of machine guns, illegal use of weapons, drug-free zone violation and possession of a firearm in the presences of CDS.

All four individuals were booked into an Iberia Parish jail. Officials said Leday and Sinegal’s bond has been set at $5,000. The juvenile’s bond has been set at $7,000. Jackson’s bond has been set at $60,000.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
