Detectives ask for public’s help in locating missing man

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Jamie Islas-Ramirez, 39, of Vale, was last heard from by his family on June 20, 2025.

Authorities say Jamie is known to frequent Gaston and Lincoln County and has connections to Florida.
