Police report that on July 27, just before 8:00 p.m., Clayton Ireland fled from officers on a motorcycle. He led law enforcement on a 130-mile pursuit, which began in Cisco. The pursuit went through Eastland County, Comanche County, and Brown County.
Ireland was being pursued for traffic violations in Eastland County and active Brown County warrants, and was stopped on FM 583 in Brown County, about half a mile north of FM 2940.
He was arrested for warrants and Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle. Ireland was booked into the Brown County Jail on bonds totalling $251,500.
